Rising to the challenge
Microorganisms are very tiny living things, that are all around us, in the air, in our bodies and in water. They are so small that you need a microscope to see them. There are three types of microorganisms: viruses, bacteria and fungi.

Some microorganisms are harmful to us, but others are helpful. We decided to test how useful some microorganisms could be. The fungus yeast, is used to make the bread we eat everyday. How could we test how useful yeast is?
By making our own bread!
